Sedona Camera Club
The Sedona Camera Club has been meeting, learning and enjoying photography since 1952.
As a club, our mission is to education members of the Club, the general public, and students in Sedona, the Verde Valley, and beyond about the art of photography.
We strive to achieve our mission by:
- Regular Monthly Meetings with programs taught by professional photographers and workshops taught by advanced Club members.
- A Mentoring Program designed to assist beginning, intermediate and advanced photographers improve their skills.
- Holding Monthly Photo Critiques in which members receive individualized critiques of their submissions in order to improve their photographic skills.
- Working cooperatively with other community organizations to provide artistic exhibitions that benefit club members and the community as a whole.
- Club Trips (local photoshoots or multi-day photo trips) and Special Events including workshops.
Club Year: 2023-2024
Although there is still plenty left to our 2023-24 club year, it is time to start thinking about the future of our club. Voting is now open for the club’s 2024-2025 Board of Directors. Members can vote for the slate of candidates or, with permission of other members, write-in their candidates. Take the time to VOTE for next year’s Board of Directors..
Submissions are now being accepted for our April Critiques. Prints can be brought to our monthly meeting but still require a corresponding digital submission.
The club is encouraging our student members to submit their images. In addition to getting feedback about their images, submissions will qualify students for a raffle at the end of the year. Students should watch this video which demonstrates how to submit images. Although geared toward students, any member looking to learn how to submit images will benefit from watching it.
You can help make this coming year our best. Reach out with your ideas for photo opportunities, mentoring sessions or any suggestion about making the club more active and vibrant.
Stay tuned to this site and look for our email blasts for information about opportunities for us to share our love of photography.

Plan a Trip with Club Members
Spontaneous trips happen all the time. Submit the details of a trip or photo shoot you would like to invite other club members to join you. Details will be forwarded to other club members.
The reason is to promote learning and bonding with other club members. Current members will be notified by unique email blast or in our next Club Newsletter. You can limit the number of club members to go on your trip, and they must email you about their interest in going on that trip with you.
To appreciate many of the trips the club has taken, view our Trip Galleries.
