- Good timing for shot. However, the color of the sky is a little dark and the rainbow might benefit from some color enhancement. Not sure if the vignette adds anything. Perhaps the nest in the rocks was not noticed when the shot was taken. The nest would be a good focal point if in one of the rule of thirds locations. The foreground rocks could benefit from some contrast/ clarity/ vibrance adjustments. A fetching image that draws the viewer into the scene.
- An amazing landscape caught at a fortuitous time! The maker has done a fine job of rendering the scene, but the drawbacks of the scene are that the lighting of the foreground is bright and flat (the sun was directly behind the camera and on the foreground rocks) and the rainbow is relatively faint against the background. Some burning and dodging might help bring out the drama of the moment, and cropping out some of the sky might help as well.
- A full rainbow is a photographer's dream. I seems that the shape of this rainbow is dictating the composition which doesn't have any focal points. To get such a rainbow the sun must be to your back but this left the rocks completely front lit. Perhaps some vignetting would have created more depth. The image is very sharp throughout.
