- By including the rock in the foreground the maker of this image selected an interesting point of view. The decision to treat this as a monochrome image was an appropriate one, but there are some issues with the conversion. The foreground shows considerable contrast and there appear to be "blooms" at various points along the edges of the ruin. The increased contrast makes some of the dirt on the sensor visible.
- seems homogenous in tones. I think with some work, this could become a very dramatic photo
- Impactful use of mono. Sharp focus and contrast. Too much sky. Maybe move left and lower for more dramatic perspective.
- Composition well anchored by large boulder in foreground. Main portion of the Pueblo is placed a bit too far to the right. Was it possible to include more of the steps/path (on the right) leading to the Pueblo? Possibly consider removing some of the featureless sky at top. Choice of B&W enhances textures.
