- This is a very good capture of a colorful bird. There's a nice catch light in the bird's eye and detail in its feathers. The background is neutral and very blurred out. There is, however, one distracting element in the frame. The clump of dirt or rock near the left edge of the frame is out of focus and does not add to the composition. The maker should consider cropping it out.
- Gorgeous bird. Minimal feather details. Too much dung and too much dead space
- What a beautiful bird. Colors are good, focus good, but the _ ball of poo poo drops off out of focus, not a big deal. Good shot.
- Excellent detail, exposure & catchlight in the roller's eye. Consider a tighter crop - remove the lump of mud/rock on the left which distracts & possibly crop the top. This would still allow the LBR's head to be near the left 1/3 point. Appropriate aspect ratio for this portrait.
