- When panning, you either have to freeze the background and blur the movement or blur the background and freeze the action. This was neither.
- The motion blur in the face, legs, arms, and ball work becaause the face is sharp in the forward boy and the face is well defined in the back boy. That was an interesting approach to add motion to the subject. The out of focus background also works in this image. Unfortunately, there are hot spots in the background that detract from the image. I see an interesting story in this image which adds to its value.
- Way too busy and background is very distracting
- If this photo was meant to be blurry, a plus would be the artistic design made in the windows - if you do want more focus you'll need to raise the speed to maybe 800 - experiment whenever possible.
