- The eyes of the wolf are well-placed in the frame and draw the viewer's eye in. They appear sharp and have a small amount of catchlight. The rest of the wolf's face is sharp with just a hint of softness near the mouth. The composition is hindered, however, by the branches that intrude on the right side of the frame. The maker might consider a vertical crop that would emphasize the wolf's head and shoulders while eliminating the distracting branches.
- stunning wet wolf with mesmerizing eyes. The bright spotty background detracts from the eyes and face.
- Stunning wolf portrait, well composed. Dark branches in foreground need lightening & detail. Well done.
- This image is all about the photographer's connection with the wolf. Consider a vertical composition that only shows the wolf's head, chest/shoulder & top of his legs. His missing paws, blotchy background lighting, out of focus hindquarters & branches distract.
