- Good idea but the dark foreground dominates.Light on Courthouse not that dramatic.
- This is a tough subject to photograph. A clear blue sky, the foreground in shadow with white snow and dark rocks and then throw in a reflecting pond-with ice on it. HDR would be in order here. I would also suggest cropping the sky to barely over the top of the rock formation since the sky has no interest. I may also suggest cropping out the tree on the right. It is one less thing with too much dark in it to deal with. Oh, then work on the reflecting pond/ice to bring out more

- Excellent clarity; appreciable balance of color: sky/red rocks; inclusion of reflection in water complements, although, would be more advantageous, if lighter.
